Personal Narrative
This assignment was for AP Lit. We had to write a narrative about any experience we have had in the past. My narrative was about a quite recent event of when we had to get our hair cut for football playoffs. I liked this assignment because it allowed me to go back and reminisce on the fun times and remember everything that happened.
The Book ThiefThis assignment was written during the summer for AP Lit. It was a reflection paper on the book titled The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I enjoyed this book and how the main character Liesel was portrayed. I liked her character so much that I wrote my paper on her and how she had the power to change the plot and affect the other characters in the book. This assignment taught me to really stay focused because it was the first novel I've ever read over summer break.
OedipusThis is another assignment that I had to write during the summer for AP Lit. We had to read Sophocles' play "Oedipus the King" and then do a reflection on it. I talked about how some of the themes relate to modern times. I enjoyed this assignment because the story within the play was very unusual and unlike anything that I had ever read before.

Othello Movie Review
This assignment was completed after both reading Othello and watching the film. It was focused mainly on analyzing the changes that the director had made to the original play in his film. The director of the movie that we had watched was Tim Nelson and he had made several choices throughout the film, and in my paper I discuss how those choices helped to improve and modernize the play so that it would relate to people nowadays.

Character Analysis Paragraph (Merchant)
This assignment was incorporated with our Merchant of Venice unit. We had to choose one character for the play and write an analysis of their character as it developed throughout the play. The character that I chose was Portia. I liked how she started off as a more blank and basic character and later developed to become a key player within the plot of the play. I analyze and discuss within my paper the things that Shakespeare did to develop this character and make her memorable for the readers.

Cuckoo's Nest Movie Review
We did this assignment upon completing One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest by Milos Forman. It was the film interpretation of the book One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey, which we had read prior to watching the film. This paper was to have a movie review format and feel. In my review I compared the two pieces of work and explained the major differences that I had noticed between them, though they were both exceptional in their own right.
